Jeff Betchwars

Mr. Betchwars has more than thirty-five years experience in banking and financial services.  He has served as a business bank CEO and a bankers' bank CFO.  Moreover, he served as a financial software development company principal and as an investment banker.

Mr. Betchwars holds a BA in public administration from Drake University, a MBA in business management from the University of St. Thomas, and a M.Ed in learning technology from the University of Minnesota.

Martha Kvanbeck

Ms. Kvanbeck has over twenty years of experience working at the University of Minnesota, serving most recently as a senior administrator and director of the University of Minnesota Senate where she specialized in governance and board matters.  She has extensive experience in research, policy and program development and is skilled in developing and leading workshops and retreats. 

Ms. Kvanbeck holds a BA degree from the University of Minnesota in higher education.

Paul Dvorak

Mr. Dvorak has more than twenty-five years experience in banking and investment banking.  He has served as a Vice President in an instutional investment dealer department of a bankers' bank working with community banks nationwide. In that role he assisted many bank CEOs with structuring investment portfolios.

Mr. Dvoak attended the University of Minnesota.

Our History

Executive Management Services, Inc. (EMSI) was established in 2003.  Our first client retained us to provide board and senior management assistance during a time of transition. 

Since then we have provided asset liability management and balance sheet consulting services for large national banks as well as for community banks. Moreover, we have provided our clients with consulting services ranging from developing corporate strategic plans to providing turnaround management.

In the future we will continue to do as we have done in the past. That is, meet our clients where they are and bring them to where they want to go.
